Pioneer Memorial Library/Historic Gillespie County Courthouse (Fredericksburg, Texas)

A view of the Pioneer Memorial Library in Fredericksburg, Texas. Designed by Alfred Giles and completed in 1882, the Italianate structure served as the courthouse for Gillespie County until a newer courthouse opened next door in 1939. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Texas Historic Landmark. In the foreground is a fountain dedicated to former County Judge Victor H. Sagebill.

Hollister City Hall (Hollister, California)

A view of Hollister City Hall in Hollister, California. Designed by William Binder and built in 1912 with the assistance of a Carnegie grant, the building served as the city's library until 1959 before eventually being converted to its current use. Hollister City Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
